ARTIST BIOGRAPHYKeira Hudson is a queer artist living on the land of the Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung people, working as an art technician, educator, and life model. She initially specialised in printmaking, but transferred this passion to chemical darkroom processes, particularly wet plate photography. Hudson has undertaken several art residencies at schools and galleries, sharing her experimental techniques with local artists and students. Since 2009, she has exhibited nationally and internationally, and her works have been acquired into collections such as Geelong Gallery. Hudson was shortlisted as a Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize finalist in 2023, under the Inprnt Photograph Award category.
